Looking for trusted security camera installation in Melbourne? Tiger Security designs and installs reliable CCTV systems for homes, offices, retail and industrial sites. Serving Footscray, Werribee, Richmond, Hawthorn, Kew, Camberwell, South Yarra, Prahran, St Kilda and Brighton, we ensure cameras are positioned, configured and installed to capture clear footage when it matters most.
Buying a camera online and mounting it yourself is easy. Getting genuinely useful security coverage is harder. Our installations focus on:
Positioning that actually covers risk areas — entry points, driveways, loading docks, cash registers, and blind corners, not just wherever a power point happens to be.
Correct exposure and night vision setup so footage isn’t washed out by streetlights or too dark to be useful after sunset.
Reliable storage — local recording, cloud backup, or both, so footage isn’t lost if a device is stolen or damaged.
Simple day-to-day use — a system your whole household or staff team can actually operate, not one that only makes sense to the person who installed it.
we inspect the property, discuss your concerns (break-ins, theft, staff safety, deliveries), and identify optimal camera placements.
we recommend the right number of cameras, resolution, and recording setup for your budget and needs.
cameras and cabling are installed neatly, with minimal disruption to your property.
night vision, motion alerts, and mobile access are configured and tested on-site.
we walk you through the system so you know how to access footage, receive alerts, and manage users.
For homes, we typically focus on entry points — front and back doors, garage, driveway — plus any areas with previous incidents like side gates or sheds. Many homeowners also want motion-activated alerts sent straight to their phone, which we set up as standard.
For businesses, camera placement often needs to account for staff safety, cash handling areas, stock rooms, loading docks, and external perimeters. We’ve installed systems for retail stores, hospitality venues, warehouses, and office buildings across Melbourne, including systems built to support insurance claims and workplace incident reviews.
