St Kilda Security System Installation : Built for Bayside Apartments and Older Buildings
St Kilda has a character all of its own. Art deco apartment blocks, Victorian mansions converted to flats, the Esplanade, Acland Street and the St Kilda foreshore create a lively, ever-changing neighbourhood. Many residents rent, many buildings are decades old and sea air can be tough on outdoor equipment. Tiger Security provides security system installation in St Kilda that works with older structures and bayside conditions, including CCTV, alarms, video intercoms, TV antennas, Starlink, data cabling and TV wall mounting.
We are a licensed, insured team that is used to working in shared buildings, so we plan carefully and keep disruption to a minimum.

CCTV Installation and Packages in St Kilda
In older St Kilda apartment blocks, the main concerns are usually the entry to your unit, the balcony and any shared stairwell. In houses and converted mansions, the front door, side path and rear garden are key. We choose cameras with weather-resistant housings, which matters close to the bay where salt can corrode cheap equipment. Wiring is routed neatly, and we avoid damaging original features such as decorative plaster or timber.
See our CCTV packages for compact, easy-to-install options, or ask about a custom CCTV installation if your property needs a bespoke layout. For renters, we can discuss options that reduce permanent changes.
Alarm Systems for St Kilda Apartments and Houses
Balcony doors, ground-floor windows and shared entrances all create risk in St Kilda. We select sensors that suit older frames and sliding doors, and place motion detectors where they cover hallways and living areas without triggering unnecessarily. With phone alerts, you can keep an eye on your unit even when you are away. Learn about our alarm installation service and alarm packages.
Video Intercoms for St Kilda Buildings
Many older buildings in St Kilda still rely on faded buzzers or have no entry system at all. A video intercom gives residents and owners a clear view of visitors and a simple way to control access. We install and replace door stations, in-unit handsets and gate systems, and set up phone answering when you are out. View our intercom installation and intercom packages.
TV Antenna Installation in St Kilda
Older blocks sometimes have ageing shared antenna systems. If your picture keeps dropping out, we can check the wiring, diagnose the problem and recommend repairs or a dedicated antenna. See our antenna installation page.
Starlink Installation in St Kilda
Starlink is not a typical choice in a bayside apartment, but it can be a sensible backup for freelancers, small businesses or holiday-let hosts who must stay online. Where a clear view of the sky is available, we mount the dish securely and connect it to your network. Visit our Starlink installation page.
Data Cabling in St Kilda
Thick walls and old building layouts can make Wi-Fi unreliable. We run Cat6 cabling where it is practical, set up wired outlets in key rooms and tidy cluttered comms areas. As a registered cabler and NBN accredited technician, we handle the work to standard. Learn more about data cabling.
TV Wall Mounting in St Kilda
Solid brick, lath-and-plaster and modern plasterboard each call for different fixings. We identify the wall type, choose the right anchors and conceal cables for a tidy finish. See our TV wall mount service.
